Today was one of those days that reminded me why I fell in love with design in the first place. I spent the entire afternoon working on abstract AI-generated images, and it felt like stepping into an unknown world where anything could happen. I started with a simple concept—just some basic shapes and a color palette that reminded me of a warm sunrise—but watching the AI transform it into something entirely unexpected was mesmerizing.
The images that emerged were like visual poetry. Strange, twisted lines that felt alive, colors blending in ways I couldn't have planned if I tried, and patterns that seemed to speak their own language. It was as if the AI had its own vision, a collaborator with its own mysterious creativity. I found myself smiling, surprised by what we were able to create together. It’s funny how letting go of control can lead to something so freeing.
There was one piece that really stood out to me—a mix of geometric chaos and a splash of blue, like an explosion frozen in time. I don't think I could have imagined it myself, but now I can't stop staring at it. It makes me think about the nature of creativity itself. Is it still mine if I just provided the seed and the AI took over? I think it is—maybe even more so. It’s a reminder that the process, the act of creating, is more important than the final product.
I also experimented with AI-created images in the style of René Magritte today. The surreal elements—floating objects, unexpected juxtapositions, and the play of light and shadow—added an entirely new dimension to the work. It felt like a dreamscape, where the impossible became possible. One image had an apple suspended in a cloudy sky, and another depicted a door opening into a vast, empty field. The AI captured the essence of Magritte’s mystery and whimsy in a way that left me in awe.
I feel inspired—like I’ve unlocked a new door to explore in my design journey. I can't wait to see where this path will take me next.
